Mr. Liam Henry has been teaching chess for 20 years. He holds the title of National Master. His teaching philosophy is based on developing the student’s reasoning ability and pattern recognition. He believes the ultimate form of learning anything is getting knowledge to Unconscious Competence, and that is what he tries to do with every student. Some of Mr. Henry’s achievements include winning the Canadian Youth Chess championships and coaching one of his students to place Top 10 at the World Youth Chess Championships.
