Public Speaking: Toastmasters and Leadership (online)

Students from each grade will complete the summer camp course with a renewed sense of confidence while developing the following foundational leadership and speaking skills emphasized in the International Toastmasters and Dale Carnegie training programs: Presentation Skills, Evaluation Skills, Impromptu Speaking Skills, and Leadership Skills.

JULY: Protecting Your Mind

Final Project: Students will deliver a prepared speech on their plan to take care of the information, images, and ideas they allow into their lives and minds. Specialized skills include:

AUGUST: Prioritize

Final Project: Students will deliver a prepared speech on identifying the key priorities in their life and how to allocate time to the most important areas. Specialized skills include:

• Time Management Skills
• Innovative Thinking Skills
• Self Management Skills
