Getting better prepared for BCC (Beaver Computing Challenge)
A fun and light course designed to prepare students for the Beaver Computing Challenge hosted by the University of Waterloo. This course is mainly targeted to students without any programming knowledge and is designed to get students interested in programming and computing. The course will teach students the different methods one can take to solve problems and improve their logical reasoning. Students will get the chance to solve many problems from previous exams and discuss potential alternative solutions with other students.
The course is broken down into 4 units.
Unit 1 Introduction to the BCC (1 weeks)
Unit 2 Algebraic modelling (2 weeks)
Unit 3 Looking at BCC questions (2weeks)
Unit 4 Deeper look at tougher questions (3 weeks)
