At FocusLearning, we are so much more than just an afterschool program. We are a community of talented and enthusiastic teachers, learners, parents, and staff. As such, being a part of FocusLearning means being a part of our community. In order to foster a sense of community and belonging outside of the multifarious courses we offer, we provide many opportunities to get to know one another through our FocusClubs, Contests, and Workshops. Check this page often; we’d love to see you at one of our community events!
Join us each Saturday during the school year from 5:00 -6:00 pm for one of our FocusClub events! We offer two FocusClubs: Book Club and Toastmasters Club, on alternating Saturdays. Each FocusClub is run by our dedicated team of teachers here at Focus. And here’s the best part - the FocusClubs are FREE for all registered students, so if you are signed up for a course this term, we’d love to see you at our FocusClub events! Not registered? Not to worry! You can still join us for all the fun activities by “dropping in” for just $20 per session, or, you can save even more by signing up for our 16-week package for only $280 (a savings of $40)!
All of you bookworms out there are invited to our Bookworm’s Book Club! Each Bookworm’s Book Club will feature a different book and will be jam packed with trivia, activities, and discussions related to that particular book. Find out what book will be discussed next at our Bookworm’s Book Club by checking out the events below!
Interested in honing your public speaking skills? Join our Toastmasters Club hosted by our very own Toastmasters teacher for an evening of fun and interesting conversations. Each Club meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to practice and receive feedback on your public speaking skills by participating in the Table Topics discussion! Topics for the discussion will change each club meeting.
The mission of CEO Talks is to open students' mind by connecting them with successful CEOs.
